Five persons died in an accident at DC Nkwanta, on the Ejura-Mampong Highway in the Ashanti region on Wednesday.

The victims included two females and three males who were workers of Miro Forestry, a sustainable forestry and plantation company in Ghana.

The deceased were part of 30 occupants in the company’s Leyland Cargo truck with registration number AC 1064 —17, and were returning to Asante-Mampong from Bunuso, a community near the Ejura Municipality at about 15:30hrs, local time.
