Eight more persons have succumbed to COVID-19 related death, taking Ghana’s death toll to 223.
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) posted on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 that 168 new cases have been confirmed from the labs, increasing the national case count to 41, 572.
The active cases are now 2,029 after 39, 320 patients were declared recovered and discharged. Five persons are in critical condition with 18 others classified as severe. Three are on ventilators, according to the GHS.
