A 24-year-old lady [name withheld] severed a man’s penis by biting into it after he allegedly held her up with a gun and began sexually assaulting her.
The incident happened during the wee hours of Saturday, November 7, while she was asleep in her home at Abompe New Site in the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Attack
According to a police incident report obtained by dailymailgh.com, the victim woke up and detected that her underwear and pants had been removed with some seminal fluids around her private parts.
She realized the suspect whose name has been given as Emmanuel Ankor, 23, was in the room armed with a knife demanding the second round of sex amid threats to kill her.
The victim, who eventually gave in, bit Emmanuel on his penis as she fought to get away, severing the organ, before screaming for help.
The wounded suspect who was sensing danger fled the scene with an amount of ¢4,500.00 belonging to the victim, police say.
Arrest
It has been widely reported online that the victim, who suffered some injuries went to the AGA Hospital for treatment.
The victim eventually spotted Emmanuel who had visited the same hospital to nurse his life-threatening condition. She then alerted security officials at the hospital who then moved in to arrest him.
Confirmation
The Obuasi Division of the Ghana Police Service has confirmed the incident to dailymailgh.com but says investigations have begun.
The suspect is also receiving treatment under a police guard and would soon face justice.
