Issiaga Sylla gave the Yellow and Reds the lead inside 35 minutes of the match after connecting with Jose Kante’s ball to score the only goal of the match.
Guinea are level on top of the table with three points same as Senegal who earlier beat Zimbabwe with a late penalty scored by Liverpool FC star Sadio Mane.
The Syli Nationale face the Lions of Teranga next on Friday at 1pm in their second game of the tournament with kick off at 1pm.
