The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly, Mrs Sandra Owusu Ahinkorah will on Tuesday, November 26, host a durbar for residents of the Assembly to deliberate on the ‘December 17 Referendum’.
The durbar will take place at the La Bawaleshie School Park at 2 pm.
“The MCE, Mrs Ahinkora will use the occasion to interact with the public and residents of her Assembly on the proposed amendment to the constitution that will give the electorates the power to select their MMDCEs,” a statement issued by her office said.
She will also engage them on the meaning of the YES and NO vote and why they should vote YES on December 17.
“I look forward to seeing all of you who believe in deepening our democracy,” she said.
