Big Blow: Ghana’s Rock-Solid Center-back Alexander Djiku injured ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup

Ghana’s Rock-Solid Center-back Alexander Djiku has picked up a fresh injury in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon away from home ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

The Strasbourg center-back was taken off with an injury during his team’s stalemate game against Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The extent of his injury is not yet known as the defender was unable to continue with the game which has scared a lot of Ghanaian football enthusiasts.

His team drew 2-2 at Toulouse in the French Ligue 1 round of 12 games on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

However, the dependable defender is expected to return to full fitness ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar next month.
