Brighton and Hove Albion, two other Premier League sides fighting over Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil

English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion are keen to sign Ghana’s In-form forward Joseph Paintsil Paintsil, Dailymailgh.com understands.

The KRC Genk attacker is one of the most talked about players in Europe this season after a stunning displays in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.

According to our sources in England, Brighton and Hove Albion are very serious about signing the former Tema Youth FC player who has taken over Belgium.

Brentford FC are also said to be interested in the player and have sent scouts to monitor the Ghana International his club this season in the Jupiler Pro League.

Former Ghana star John Paintsil team, Fulham FC have also expressed interest in landing the attacker and have inquired about the availability of the player from the Blue and Whites outfit.

The Black Stars winger and have been impressed by the 25-year-old being involved in a combined 28 goals across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign.

Paintsil has been a standout performer this season with his 14 goals and 14 assists during the regular campaign, with the championship play-offs still to come.

Paintsil’s goals-and-assist contribution has made him the most productive African player in Europe this season, with two more than Napoli striker Victor Osimhen (21 goals and 4 assists) and also ahead of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

He’s been phenomenal this season and it is becoming increasingly impossible not to make a big money move at the end of this season.
