Ghanaian giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC star man Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is the only local player to make it into Black Stars team for Brazil, Nicaragua friendly games.
Augustine Okrah, then a Bechem United player and Dennis Korsah, also of Hearts of Oak are the other two that made the squad as local players the last time around.
But the latter players have been subsequently dropped in favor of Barnieh, who will travel with the current squad to France and Spain to face Brazil and Nicaragua respectively.
Barnieh has proved to be a key player for the Phobians and inspired the Black Galaxies to qualification to the African Nations Championship tournament for the first time since 2014.
Ghana will play Brazil on September 23 and take on minnows, Nicaragua four days later after the crunch encounter with the five-time world champions.
