Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak SC defender Dennis Nkrumah Korsah is the only Ghana based player in the Black Stars squad for Nigeria clash.
Ghana coach Otto Addo named a 27-man squad for the Black Stars FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play offs against Nigeria this Friday and next week Tuesday and included only one player plying his trade domestically.
Ghana squares off with Nigeria in two matches scheduled for Kumasi and Abuja respectively as both teams looks to book a place in November’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Korsah has emerged as one of the leading left-backs in the country following his stellar performances with Ghana Premier League champions, Hearts of Oak since he switched camp from Ebusua Dwarfs early last month.
Ghana will host the 1st leg at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday, March 25 before travelling to Abuja for the 2nd leg on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
He has made seven appearances with the Phobians, winning the President’s Cup against Kotoko and also received the Man of the Match award in their league clash with Kotoko in Accra last month.
