Diawisie Taylor scores twice as Karela United beat Aduana Stars

Ghana Premier League leaders Karela United FC defeated a steady Aduana Stars FC at home on Saturday afternoon in the last game of the first round of matches in the 2020-21 season.

The Pride and Passion came from a goal down to beat Aduana Stars FC by a 2-1 score line to a points gap at the top of the league going in the first round break.

Six minutes into the game, Bright Adjei powered the visitors in front to make it 1-0 to the Green and Yellows.

Three minutes from the end of the first 45 minutes, starman Diawisie Taylor grabbed the equalizer for the home team before heading into the break.

In the second half, Aduana Stars FC had the best of chances but failed to make use of the opportunities that came their and they were made to pay dearly for those missed chances as Taylor scored a late winner for the league leaders to win 2-1 at the end of match.

Diawisie Taylor after his brace today has 12 goals for the Pride and Passion this season in the Ghana Premier League.
