Separate teams from two major banks in Ghana—Ecobank Ghana Limited and the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB)—have paid business visits to the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to strengthen their working relationships.

On Wednesday, 4 June 2025, Ecobank Ghana’s delegation, led by Mr. Joseph Ankamah, Acting Head of Corporate Banking, visited the GCAA offices. The team was warmly received by the Acting Director-General of GCAA, Rev. Stephen Wilfred Arthur, along with his executive team.

The following day, Thursday, 5 June 2025, ADB’s delegation, headed by Deputy Managing Director Professor Ferdinand Ahiakpor, also paid a similar courtesy call to the Authority.

During both meetings, Rev. Arthur highlighted the important role banks play in helping the GCAA achieve its goals. He said he was hopeful that the current relationship between GCAA and the two banks would grow into stronger partnerships.

The visiting banks took the opportunity to congratulate Rev. Arthur on his appointment and wished him success in his new role. They also shared that their visits were part of efforts to build closer ties with key public institutions like the GCAA.
