Exclusive: Ghanaian teen Basit set for Benevento medicals

Ghanaian teenager Basit Abdallah is close to a move to Benevento Calcio from Italian Lega Promo outfit Arezzo.

Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that the 19-year-old central midfielder has already landed in Campania and is set for his medicals after personal terms was agreed.

The tireless enforcer was instrumental for the Dark Reds last season in the Italian third tier making 23 league appearances and scoring one goal as they finished fourth.

Benevento are said to be paying Arezzo 1 million Euros for the services of Basit whose contract was due to expire on June 30, 2020.

He has previously featured for the Under 19 team of Carpi and Napoli.
