Portuguese club Moreirense have loaned Ghanaian striker Caleb Gomina to Gondomar.
Gomina joins the Campeonato Liga side on a one year deal without an option to buy as he continues his development.
Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that Moreirense were planning to give Gomina to a second tier team, but the deal could not go through and they had to be granted an opportunity by the Portuguese FA to loan the Ghanaian.
Gomina, 22, has played the last two seasons on loan at Oliveirense and San Joanenese in the third tier netting a combined 24 goals but Morereinse boss Vitor Campelos still believes he is not ripe for top level football.
