Ex South Africa predatory striker Marc Batchelor has been shot dead while driving his car on Monday evening in Johannesburg.
Police claim that the former Orlando Pirates and Kazier Chiefs star was shot several times on the chest and neck respectively till he lost his breath.
Batchelor who stood in as witness in the South Africa Paralympian Oscar Pistorius’ murder trial case was confirmed dead by the police when they arrived at the seen.
The former Kazier Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker was driving his car on Monday night, July 15, when he was shot several times, police confirmed.
Police spokesman Lungelo Dlamini revealed the incident took place at around 6pm on Monday evening in Johannesburg.
