Minister of Environment Science and Technology, Professor Frimpong Boateng has donated sports kits to communities in the Juaboso Constituency of the Western North region.
Known for his philanthropy work, the renowned surgeon had extended similar gestures to many communities across the country in recent years.
At a short presentation on Thursday, the Minister said the donation, was his contribution towards the development of football in the area which has for many years, been unearthing talents for Ghana.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart also used the occasion to appeal to the youth in the area to respect the elderly and desist from hooliganism, alcoholism, and drug abuse, which he said were injurious to their health.
In all, 14 sets of jerseys and footballs were presented and were received by Mr. Lawrence Kwame Agyemang who represented the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Madam Martha Kwayie at the event.
A similar presentation will be replicated in some selected constituencies across Ghana in the coming days.
