Ghana forward Gyan earns MoTM award as he strikes North East United to victory

Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan has opened his league account in the Indian Super League against Odisha.

The Ghana International’s winner for North East United earned him his first man- of- the-match award in the Indian Super League.

The 33-year-old scored the all important goal to secure his side’s first league win in the 83rd minutes of the game.

The home side took the lead with two minutes on the clock through Redeem Tlang strike.

Odisha got their equalizer in the 70th minute and were back on level pegging after Xisco Hernandez goal.

The Ghana prolific attacker got the winner with seven minutes to full time with a bullet header to hand the home side with a deserving win claiming his first goal of the season after two rounds of games.
