Ghana’s darling boy Daniel Kofi Kyereh believes Ghana will one day win the FIFA World Cup trophy.
The former FC St Pauli starboy is dreaming big for the west African country who are without an AFCON trophy in over 40 years since they last won it in 1982 in Libya.
“Yes! Ghana will receive the World Cup trophy one day”, he said in an interview with GQ.co.za.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian international played full throttle when Ghana beat minnows Nicaragua 1-0 in Spain in their second Pre-World Cup friendly matches.
Ghana are in the same group as Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar next month.
The Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the FIFA Mundial and will begin their campaign against the Europeans.
He is expected to make the Ghana squad for upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament as he has started playing more games for Germany Bundesliga side SC Freiburg.
