The Appointments Committee of Parliament is scheduled to resume the vetting of ministerial nominees on Monday, January 20, 2025. The process will focus on assessing the qualifications, experience, and readiness of the nominees to manage their respective portfolios.
The nominees appearing before the committee today include Kwame Governs Agbodza, Minister-Designate for Roads and Highways; Haruna Iddrisu, Minister-Designate for Education; and Eric Opoku, Minister-Designate for Food and Agriculture.
On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the vetting will continue with Ahmed Ibrahim, nominated for the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs; Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, nominated for the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection; and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, nominated for the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.
