Asante Kotoko newly signed Uganda international, George Abege, has officially been unveiled.

According to the former Kariobangi Sharks tops-man, he is highly motivated to pay back the supporters of the club with his performance for the extreme love showed him when he first arrived at the club’s training ground.

“I am very much excited to be here in Ghana and most especially to be part of this great club, Kotoko and I promise to make history with the club,” Abege said.

“Kotoko is a very popular club in Uganda and Kenya and it is an honour to play for them.

“I didn’t come to Ghana for sightseeing nor did I come here for holidays but rather I am here to work as a professional footballer and I will do everything possible to help the club reach its expectations,” Abege added.

“What I can tell the supporters is that they should keep on supporting the team because we are going to play our hearts out anytime we step on the field,” he assured.

“My aim is to help the club achieve greatness and I know the management believe in my abilities that’s why they signed me and I won’t disappoint them,” Abege promised.

Kotoko signed Abege from Kenyan top-flight side Kariobangi Sharks in preparation for the CAF Champions League campaign which starts next month.
