Kubease Toll Booth Closure to Allow for Repair Works – GHA

The Kubease toll booth on the Kumasi-Accra highway in the Ashanti region was on Monday, temporarily closed to road users.

This closure, according to the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA) in a statement, is to allow for emergency repair works to reduce the traffic congestion motorists encounter at the spot.

“The Minister for Roads and Highways has ordered the temporary closure of the Toll Booth at Kubease near Boankra on the Accra-Kumasi Highway with immediate effect.”

The statement signed by Chief Director of the GHA, Nicholas D. Brown, also apologized for any inconvenience that the works might result in.

“Any inconveniences caused to the general public during the period of repairs is deeply regretted”.
