Mahama attends high-level AU reforms retreat in Kenya

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, to join other African leaders at a High-Level Retreat on African Union (AU) Institutional Reforms.

 

The retreat, scheduled to take place from January 27 to 28, is being held at the invitation of Kenyan President William Ruto, who has been designated as the African Union Champion.

 

The discussions will center on the progress and future direction of AU reforms, with a focus on sustainable financing, and the review of the organization’s structure and operations.

 

President Mahama is expected to share his leadership experiences and insights while reaffirming Ghana’s commitment to advancing the African Union’s agenda.

 

Through his participation, President Mahama aims to contribute to shaping reforms that will strengthen the AU and promote sustainable development across the continent.
