President John Mahama has appointed Malik Basintale as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
The appointment was confirmed by Basintale through his social media accounts, where he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the president for entrusting him with the role.
“Thank you, Mr. President, John D. Mahama. We shall not fail you and the youth of Ghana!” he wrote, promising his dedication to fulfilling the agency’s mandate.
The Youth Employment Agency is a critical institution focused on addressing youth unemployment in Ghana by creating job opportunities and offering skills development programs to empower young people.
Malik Basintale, a passionate youth advocate and a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is expected to bring his experience and enthusiasm to the position, working towards advancing the agency’s mission.
