Mahama names Muntaka, Ablakwa, and Sam George in latest ministerial appointments

President John Dramani Mahama has unveiled his latest set of ministerial nominations, featuring key appointments to various government ministries.

 

The Member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mubarak, has been nominated as the Minister-Designate for the Interior Ministry. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu, has been named as the Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

The Ministry of Communications is set to be led by Samuel Nartey George, MP for Ningo-Prampram, while Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, MP for Ellembelle, has been nominated as the Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

 

Additionally, Edward Omane Boamah has been chosen as the Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Defence, and Kofi Adams is set to take charge of the Sports Ministry. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has been nominated as the Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Health, pending approval.

 

A statement from the Presidency confirmed that the nominations have been forwarded to the Speaker of Parliament for consideration and approval.
