President John Dramani Mahama has urged his newly sworn-in Energy Minister, John Jinapor, to prioritize delivering a stable and efficient power supply to Ghanaians.
The President made this remark during the swearing-in ceremony for the first batch of his approved ministers at the Jubilee House in Accra on Wednesday, January 22.
“To you, John Jinapor, Ghanaians are looking for a stable and efficient power supply,” President Mahama emphasized.
Addressing Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the newly appointed Finance Minister, the President outlined the critical economic expectations of the Ghanaian people. “To you, Dr. Ato Forson, Ghanaians expect you to reduce inflation, make life more comfortable. They expect you to bring the national public debt to sustainable levels, they are looking to you to stabilize our currency and bring down inflation,” he stated.

Haruna Iddrisu: Minister for Education
Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson: Minister for Finance
John Jinapor: Minister for Energy and Green Transition
Dr. Dominic Ayine: Attorney General and Minister for Justice
Governs Kwame Agbodza: Minister for Roads and Highways
Eric Opoku: Minister for Food and Agriculture
President Mahama emphasized that Ghanaians have high expectations of his administration and urged all ministers to remain focused on delivering results in their respective portfolios.
