Most Ghanaian journalists are hypocrites – Gyan

Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has hit hard on a section of Ghanaian journalists, describing them as hypocrites.

The former Sunderland attacker did not hide his thoughts on journalists whom he deemed as enemies of progress.

“There are some journalists, when I’m doing positive projects, they never write on their page,” Gyan told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“When I say something negative they write to generate controversy,” he stressed.

“As I’m doing U16 gala to help kids, they don’t write. When Sadio Mane build school, they wrote [on it],” Gyan added.

According to the all-time top scorer of Ghana, some journalists have plotted to always publish negative news about him.

The former Al-Ain attacker is likely to leave Turkish top-flight Kayserespor this summer.
