Austrian defender of Ghanaian parentage Kevin Danso has joined English Premier League side Southampton on loan from Augsburg.
Danso, 20, completed the loan deal on Friday and is looking forward to make his mark with the Saints.
“I’m delighted to join such a great club which has produced lots of great players. I’m ready for the challenge and really excited to get started, and also to get to know the fans and the rest of the lads,” Danso stated after signing the deal.
“It’s a great opportunity for me to show what I can do. Southampton is a great club and the manager is a great coach, and I’m really looking forward to the opportunity.”
The budding centre back made 18 Bundesliga appearances for Augsburg scoring one goal.
