Another person has died of coronavirus infection in Ghana, increasing the death toll to 145, health officials said.
The Ghana Health Service in its Saturday, July 18, 2020 update said 488 new cases have been recorded, taking the country’s confirmed caseload to 27,060.
“A total of 488 new cases were reported on July 15, 2020. These are samples that were taken from the period 22 June to 14 July 2020… but reported from the lab on July 15,” the GHS stated.
The recoveries have appreciated to 23, 044 as the active cases stand at 3,871. Eight patients are in a critical condition while four remain on ventilators with 25 others having their cases declared severe.
