‘Players born abroad who have accepted to play for Black Stars will be announced by next week’ – Ghana coach Otto Addo


Ghana coach Otto Addo has confirmed that players born abroad and are ready to play for Ghana will be in the known by next week.

The Black Stars gaffer has revealed that those who are ready to play for Ghana will be in the known by the world soon before the 2022 World Cup tournament.

England trio, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tariq Lamptey and Eddie Nketiah are believed to have changed their nationality to play for the West African giant.

Ghana finished fourth in the 2022 Kirin Four Nations Tournament in Japan after beating Chile 3-1 on penalties.

“It’s an open secret that we have talked to a lot of players and I think latest by next week, we would know who would like to join us”, he said to the media in Japan.
