Robbers kill female Ghanaian cop and seize weapons

Gunmen wearing military uniforms have shot dead a policewoman at a checkpoint in the Northern region of Ghana Tuesday evening.

The robbers also seized weapons belonging to the police at the checkpoint, the Northern regional crime officer Superintendent Otuo Acheampong, confirmed to Daily Mail GH.

Another police woman also at the checkpoint bolted as her colleague identified as Corporal Agartha was shot dead.

The gunmen bolted with two riffles after their operation.
