Samuel Boadu resigns as Hearts of Oak head coach

Ghana Premier League powerhouse Accra Hearts of Oak SC head coach Samuel Boadu has resigned, Dailymailgh.com understands.

According to reports, the head of the technical staff of the Phobians has agreed to mutually terminate his deal with the club.

Boadu is winless in the Ghana Premier League this season after playing three games with one defeat to Aduana Stars FC and two draws against Accra Great Olympics FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.

Report says he met with the executive board director of the club, Togbe Afede XI and came to a conclusion to part ways with immediate effect.

During his time at the club, the former Medeama SC gaffer won two MTN FA CUP titles and one Premier League, which was the first time in 12 years.

The club is yet to release an official statement on the termination of the contract with the head coach and his backroom staff.
