Senegal, Algeria book ticket for AFCON 2019 final

Senegal and Algeria beat Tunisia and Nigeria respectively to set an epic 2019 AFCON final clash on July 19 in Egypt.

Senegal benefited from a 101-minute extra time own goal from Dylan Bronn as they pipped Tunisia by a lone goal at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo on Sunday.

Both teams had missed penalties within the regulated 90 minutes through Sassi in the 75th minute and Saivet in the 81st minute.

Also at the Cairo International Stadium, Algerian skipper Riyadh Mahrez score a 93rd minute winner as the Desert Foxes dominated and beat the Teranga Lions by two goals to one.

Algeria scored the opener through a William Troost-Ekong own goal in the 40th minute before Judd Odion Ighalo restored parity with a penalty in the 72nd minute.

With the game destined for extra time, Manchester City star Riyadh Mahrez curled a free kick to the far right corner of the net as the Desert Foxes reached the finals of the AFCON for the first time since 1990.
