Thieves steal Ghanaian police commander’s TV sets, laptop, money in his office

The Tema Regional Police Command inside Ghana’s harbour city is still wondering how the office of the commander of the motor traffic unit was raided.

The alleged thieves made away with two TV sets, a laptop, a decoder and cash of GhC13 which was in a drawer, reports stated-owned Graphic Online.

Personnel of the Tema Regional Police Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) are in a state of shock over the theft.

Investigations have commenced into the case to ascertain if the operation was carried from within or outside.

In September 2019, a similar incident happened in Ghana’s Western region when thieves broke into the Takoradi District Police Commander, Supt. Emmanuel Amoah’s office.

According to reports, the thieves managed to remove the louver blades to enter his office and made away with his laptop and a flat screen television and an undisclosed amount of money.
