Ghanaian international defender, Emmanuel Ntim was on target for Valenciennes FC in their 1 – 0 home over former Ligue 1 team Stade Malherbe Caen on Saturday evening.
The former Ghana U-20 star rose highest in the box to meet Aly Abeid’s pinpoint cross on the 10th minutes to power the host in front.
There were no more goals scored in the remaining 80 minutes despites the goalscoring opportunities in the game.
Ntim was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match in Valenciennes narrow win in the France second tier league for the first time this season.
The Ghana International has played four league games this campaign in the French Ligue 2 and has a goal to his credit.
Valenciennes lie on the fifth position on the league table with three wins from five games with all three wins coming at home.
