Ayew’s spot kick proved vital for the away team as they came from behind to take 2-1 lead in the early minutes of the second half.
Bradley Johnson scored a late equalizer for the home team in the dying embers of the match to make it 2-2.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian attacker is Swansea City’s top scorer in the English Championship this term with 12 goals and five assist .
