A woman has died after a consensual sexual activity went wrong in her boyfriend’s room at New Kabenla-Suazo near Half Assini in the Jomoro District of the Western Region.
Yvonne Kaku, 25, a resident of Tikobo No 1 had visited her boyfriend on the night of Thursday, February 13, 2020 when she met her untimely death at about 1 am the next morning.
Police confirmed the incident to Dailymailgh.com but would not give any further details.
Her 27-year-old boyfriend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies her murder.
He told the police that he discovered his girlfriend had passed on immediately after having sex with her.
Yvonne’s uncle, Baffoe Kaku who got wind of the news subsequently reported the matter to the police for further action.
Officers from the Half Assini District Command who proceeded to the scene discovered the lifeless body on a bed covered with a piece of cloth.
The body during inspection was found foaming from the mouth and nostrils but there were no marks of violence to suggest foul play.
The body has since been conveyed to the Half Assini Government Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police had invited her boyfriend for questioning at the time of filing this report.
