Techiman XI Wonders won 2-0 at home to Karela United on Saturday.
The host shot themselves in front when starman Abdul Mugeese Zakaria found the back of the net in the first 45 minutes.
Zakaria made it two to the good for the home team after the recess to make sure all three points stayed in the city of Techiman.
Karela United has been a bad travellers this term and suffered their third defeat away from home this season.
Zakaria’s brace won him the man-of-the-match award as Wonders won by 2-0.
