Ghanaian movie producer, Ola Michael, has expressed his views over some tweets by actress Yvonne Nelson regarding Ghana’s entertainment industry.
Nelson in a Twitter post said the entertainment industry is full of hatred and jealousy and that she doesn’t get support from her colleagues for her movies which made it to Netflix.
“An INDUSTRY full of HATE & JEALOUSY. Learn to love one another and see how God will BLESS you!”, one of her tweets read.
Meanwhile, Kobi Rana also accused Nelson of preaching virtue but practicing vice, saying in a post; ”You have never posted or supported anybody’s movie in your entire life. Today, you cry about support. Let us not preach LOVE and practice otherwise. We are ALL involved in making the INDUSTRY strong.”
Gloria Sarfo shared similar concerns and also called for a change in her attitude.
Speaking on Peace FM‘s Entertainment Review show, Michael also insisted Nelson is equally not supportive to any person in her field of work.
According to him, the actress and film producer only thinks about herself and calls for support only when it suits her.
Michael described Nelson as a ”selfish being” and asked her to stop pretending.
