All is set for the 9th edition of the Atiwa East MP’s soccer competition which comes off this Saturday (March 18) at Aworensua.
Some 28 communities are expected to take part in the keenly contested gala.
MP for the area Abena Osei-Asare told dailymailgh.com that the competition was to unearth the untapped talents in the constituency and for the youth to use the platform to launch their careers in football.
Aside from that, Osei-Asare said it was also to create unity among the communities and encourage them to live in peace with one another. She also advised players to be disciplined and regularly add value to their talents.
The grand finale will be held at Anyinam on 10 April 2023 to climax this year’s Easter celebration.
The winning team will take home a trophy, medals, and other prizes.
