The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) National Secretariat, under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP), has issued a notice to all its caterers, informing them that the process to settle their first term 2024 arrears, along with other outstanding payments, is nearing completion.
In the announcement, Siiba Alfa, Head of Public Relations, assured caterers that the necessary procedures for the disbursement of funds have been completed.
“We are certain that disbursement will be done in the next few days,” Alfa stated indicating that the Secretariat has already received a portion of the required funds to pay caterers across all 16 regions of Ghana.
The Ministry of Gender, in collaboration with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department, is working diligently to secure the release of the remaining funds. The final payment will be made through the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GHiPSS).
“We are therefore waiting to receive the full amount from the Controller to be able to pay all the 16 regions,” Alfa added.
