A form two student of Asamankese senior high school in the Eastern region has accused her Elective Biology teacher of sexual harassment.
The student alleged Mr Samuel Boakye Donkor once forced her to kiss him as well as rub his manhood but she refused.
She said the tutor has since been stalking her having shared her accommodation problems with him to help her.
“One day after school he gave us a lift,” Akose (not her real name) narrated to a local journalist.
She added: “After everyone had alighted he asked me who buys my dresses for me. I told him my mom. He then offered to buy some for me and asked me to come over later in the evening. Out of respect I obliged.”
“When I returned to his house that evening we set off in his car. He stopped by a bush and asked me to kiss him. I told him I can’t do that. He further asked me to rub his manhood and I told him I’m in my menses. After the back and forth with him we had to return around 10pm and he gave me GHc20,” Akose disclosed.
She said the teacher, popularly known as “Sir Confusion” warned her to stay off any amorous affair with anyone apart from him because he loves her so much.
Assault
The Asamankese police is currently holding Mr. Donkor for allegedly assaulting the student for exposing their relationship to a third party.
The student in her statement to the police said she was beaten severely and was nearly stripped naked in public.
The teacher is assisting the police with investigation.
The Ghana Education Service is yet to comment on the development.
