The CEO of popular X5 Pub, a recreation hub in Kumasi, has been murdered by unknown assailants, local media report.
The deceased, Nana Kwadwo Afodour, a sub-chief (Asamponhene) at the Manhyia Palace was killed on the Ejura-Nkoranza Road, Sunday.
His lifeless body was found near his vehicle when police officers visited the scene.
Close associates of the deceased have confirmed the incident to Dailymailgh.com but would not give any further details.
It also remains unclear whether an arrest has been made.
His body, sources say, has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
DailmailGH gathered that the office of the Asantehene is yet to be officially informed.
