Atwima Kwanwoma native brings cheer to mothers

Nana Owusu Acheampong, a native of the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency in the Ashanti region has donated hampers to hundreds of mothers living in the area.

According to Acheampong, the gifts were to support the women and their families in marking this year’s Mother’s Day which is observed in May.

“We must appreciate our women and mothers for their love and support. A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in this world”, Nana Acheampong stressed.

The kind gesture was to also climax his visit to the constituency.

The package comprised pieces of clothes, mugs, undisclosed amounts, among others.

Nana Acheampong emphasised that all the policies rolled out by the Akufo-Addo government were meant to relieve women.

Achie, as he is affectionately called, encouraged the women to make the most out of these policies.

The philanthropist promised to enroll the women onto the National Health Insurance Scheme, assuring them of his continuous support.

The women, Nana Acheampong added will be taken through some selected skills development programs, which will enrich their living standards.

Elated mothers who spoke to newsmen showered praises on him for the kind gesture.

Nana Acheampong is known for his humanitarian assistance to underprivileged individuals and groups across the constituency.
