Fortuna Dusseldorf have begun talks with Schalke over a possible loan deal for Ghanaian winger Bernard Tekpetey.
The Gelsinkirchen-based club recently exercised their buy-back clause on Tekpetey by securing him from Paderborn for a fee of 2.5 million Euros.
It is likely he might move on loan to another Bundesliga club as he seeks adequate playing time to aid his development.
Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that officials of Schalke and Fortuna Dusseldorf met on Friday night and talks have started on a loan deal for the Ghana Black Meteors attacker.
Tekpetey netted 10 goals and provided four assists in 32 league games last season as Paderborn booked their Bundesliga ticket.
