In Sunday’s French Ligue 1 clash with Clermont Foot 63 FC, Black Stars captain Andre Ayew scored for Le Havre, marking his third goal of the season and his 50th in the league.

Despite Ayew’s goal, Le Havre suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Stade Gabriel Montpied on Sunday afternoon.

Ayew’s goal came just before half-time, equalizing the score at 1-1 after Muhammad Cham Saracevic had given the hosts the lead in the 12th minute.

However, Clermont Foot regained the lead just before half-time, scoring from a penalty kick awarded deep into extra time.

Cham Saracevic converted the penalty to score his second goal of the match, securing a 2-1 victory for the hosts.

Ayew’s performance highlighted his attacking skills, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to secure a win for his team.

With three goals in the French Ligue 1 this season, Ayew continues to be a key player for Le Havre, showcasing his importance to the team.
