Though Karela United showed early strength, midfielder Dafie Humin Mohammed’s goal in the 3rd minute couldn’t deter the determined Hearts of Oak.


Responding swiftly, attacker Hamza Issah equalized the score in the 28th minute, bringing fresh energy to the home team.


The second half witnessed a fierce battle as both teams adjusted their strategies.


Hearts of Oak’s smart substitutions paid off when Salim Adams scored in the 64th minute, tipping the scales in favor of the Phobians, who were pushing forward aggressively.


Hamza Issah sealed the victory with a penalty in the 90+1 minute, securing three crucial points for Accra Hearts of Oak in their quest to climb the league standings.


Accra Hearts of Oak are set to face Legon Cities next, while Karela United will take on Accra Lions FC.
