Ghana’s young midfielder, Mohammed Kudus was named Man-Of-The-Match in AFC Ajax Amsterdam win over Vitesse in the last game of the 2020-21 Eredivisie season.
The 20-year-old versatile midfielder played 85 minutes before he went off to be replaced by Oussana Iddrisi for the last five minutes of the match and at the time Ajax was leading 3-1.
Sebastian Haller put the away team in front in the game on the 12 minute mark before Anthony added the second goal to make it 2-0 to Ajax two minutes to the break.
Vitesse got back into the game with a consolation goal a minute after going two behind when Ikoma Lois Openda hit the back of the net with a fine finish.
Lisandro Martinez restored the Red and Whites two goals lead on the 75th minute after a nice set up from David Neres to make sure the Dutch Champions ended the season with a comfortable win on the road.
After Kudus’s dazzling display, the 20-year-old Ghanaian prodigy was adjudged the most valuable Player at the end of the game.
