Ghana’s Inaki Williams makes it five goals in last six games as he scores late to rescue Bilbao from defeat to Mallorca

Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams scored his fifth league goal in his last six matches for Athletic Bilbao FC in the Spanish La Liga on Monday evening.

 

He continued shining in the league with a blistering display as Bilbao got a point against Real Mallorca away from home.

 

He scored a last gasp equalizer to snatch a point for his team as they escaped relegation to gain additional point in theur quest to qualify for Europe.

 

Williams played full throttle for the Black and Reds outfit as he continued with his fine form in the league after the latest international break.

 

KKang-In Lee scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the second half of the match following a goalless first 45 minutes of the encounter.

 

The Ghanaian international grabbed the equalizer for the away team in the 90-6th minute of the match from the spot to make the final score 1-1

 

The 28-year-old Ghanaian forward has nine goals and two assists in 30 appearances in the Spanish La Liga this season.
