Ghana’s Black Stars forward Inaki Williams was on the score sheet for Athletic Bilbao FC in their game against Osasuna on the road in the Spanish La Liga second round of matches.
Bilbao, after losing to Real Madrid at the San Mames Stadium on the opening day of the 2023-24 campaign bounced back to winning ways with a crucial victory away from home to get their season back on track.
The visitors, right from the start of the match were the better side and created some good chances too in the opening minutes of the entertaining clash between the two clubs.
Ghanaian-born Spanish international Nico Williams, a younger brother of Inaki Williams sent in a pinpoint cross into the box which found its way to his brother to score the opening goal of the match with a brilliant goal after just eleven minutes.
Gorka Guruzeta was assisted by Nico Williams to score the second goal for the away team in the 20th minute mark which was enough to secure a 2-0 win for Inaki Williams team.
