Ghana’s Jeff Mensah powers Viborg to a dramatic home win over Nykobing

Ghanaian – born Danish Jeff Mensah scored a late winner for Viborg FF in their 4-3 win over Nykobing FC on Monday.

Jakob Bonde gave the home team the lead on the 16th minutes of the action.

The visitors leveled through Lars Pleidrup’s strike on the 21st minutes before falling behind six minutes later when Nikko Boxall scored to restore the host’s lead before half-time.

Simon Schultz Christensen and Mathias Thrane scored on the 66th and 69th minutes respectively to turn the game on its head for the visitors before Tobias Bech equalized for the host three minutes later to make it 3-3.

Eight minutes to the end of the game, Mensah popped up with a scorcher to hand the Green and Whites a hard fought 4-3 win at home in a dramatic fashion.
