Ghana Under-23 star defender Gideon Mensah has officially signed for Zulte Waregem from Austrian Bundesliga giants Red Bull Salzburg.
The former West African Football Academy left-back has joined the Belgian club on a season-long loan deal after passing a successful medical on Thursday.
Mensah who was on the radars of Barcelona spent last season on loan at SK Sturm Graz where he featured 15 times.
The 21-year-old dependable and attacking minded defender rejoined Red Bull Salzburg after impressing on loan at SK Sturm Graz.
Mensah together with former WAFA team-mate Majeed Ashimeru featured for the Salzburg club and was on the rise before his move to Belgium.
